Ran across this photo and thought about you, Kristen...

Kids say the funniest things...

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

I guess Brad Keselowski's "Kyle Busch is an ass" statement before Saturday night's Bristol 500 drew the loudest crowd response ever registered in the big bowl, 104.2 decibels... Then he raced hard with Rowdy... Just before Kyle lapped 'em...

Like ol Dandy Don used to say...

"It ain't braggin' if you can do it!"

Now, take your best shots!

  2. Whoops. lets try that again..

LOL Dwindy! I _am_ dealing with it, trust me...I just need to do a few daily affirmations in order too.

  3. Kristen you're being too good of a sport... You're supposed to stomp your foot and throw obscenities at me! lol

  4. Hmmm, I'll have to find a video of that!!

  5. I think it's sad. Some overbearing parent probably handed her that sign and she has no clue what she's doing. My 5-year-old nephew looked me dead in the eye and told me that I shouldn't talk bad about Jimmie Johnson or OBAMA!lol He heard the JJ comment from his Grampa and the OBAMA comment from his teacher! Who's right? Just saying......

  6. Athens... I didn't think you were a HATER! lol

You just keep on pullin' for your driver but like the sign that little girl wanted to show off says, when it comes to Kyle you're going to have to DEAL WITH IT!!!

    Don't ever foresake your favorites!

  7. Sorry, I know, too deep for blogging. Teaching at a preschool has showed me just how much a parent can influence a child. I'm done. Carry on.

  8. Good one, D-Man! That pic was all over facebook the day after the race.

Kids love a winner, she knew what the sign said. Now, if it had been a sign for Jr, then we would have a cut and dried case of child abuse. lol

  9. You just *know* the achievement will be picked apart...."it was a weak sweep since it was at the same track. Now, if it had been the June 6 weekend where all three series were at different places (Texas, Nashville and Pocono I believe), THAT would have been impressive."

it's coming, don't you worry about that :P

  10. Perhaps some fans are suffering a variant of the Stockholm Syndrome? Poor kid, her parents probably make her wash the SUV every weekend also! lol

  11. Gene, after running across the pic late last night, I've seen it on several sites today too. Ain't it great?

What's that George Patton said? "Americans love a winner!"

Now to knock off JJ! lol

  12. Provocative comparison CR... Children and people held prisoner? Never really thought of it that way! lol... But upon further review there's a lot to be said for it. Just ask any teenager!

That little girl's parents either have the cleanest SUV in town or don't need an automatic dishwasher!

I guess the effect has also dictated her choice of clothing too!

    Thanks CR!

  13. tez, there are legions of Kyle haters out there. That's why the girl's sign is so appropriate...

I'd bet the number of Junior fans closely equates to the number of Kyle Busch detractors. Don't believe you can truly be one without being the other.

What's interesting about the comparison between Dale Jr.'s fans and Kyle haters? Many long-time NASCAR fans claim young Kyle's driving style is very similar to Dale Sr.'s... Makes for quite a conundrum.

  14. I'd be fine with that sign if 3 letters where changed....

I cant find any "appropriate" video on youtube of someone cursing and stomping their feet so we will just have to stick with my affirmations!
