Is it simply a war of words or will the displeasure of Hamlin's remarks carry over to tomorrow's Sprint Cup Chase race at Dover...
During practice for the Dover race Denny Hamlin and Kevin Harvick started bumping and heading off each other followed by a heated exchange in the garage where, ironically, Hamlin's 11 team and Harvick's 29 team found themselves parked right next to each other.
I'm runnin' out of fingers to count up all the vendettas that these guys are carrying around... Will all hell break loose in Dover?
Are We Ready to Rumble?
It would have been wise for Denny to keep his pie hole shut. I mean he's leading the Chase, no need to piss any of the drivers behind him off. Just shut-up, and drive! I'd like to see Kevin diliver another pie in his face. Great way to break the tension, and move on. Something tells me Denny wouldn't find it so funny this time though. He's a more mature whinner now!
ReplyDeleteHamlin and Harvick are a perfect pair of Eddie Haskells. If only Carl Edwards would interject himself into their sandbox shenanigans.
ReplyDeleteI heard it was Denny who was complaining to NASCAR early last week prompting them to come down with the penalty. Rat'ing RCR out!
ReplyDeleteTensions are high and the shrink is NOT going back the garages this year...so boys have at it!
The Hampster is a rat? lol
ReplyDeleteIt was interesting watching the commotion between these two on Speed... Hamlin had to spend time during the second practice in NASCAR's doghouse. There were a bunch of reporters waiting for him to come out but when he did he "no commented" his way back to the garage where he stood watching his crew try to straighten out the damage done by Kevin... Great Theater!
ReplyDeleteTomorrow will probably be anticlimatic...
so Denny has ticked off RCR who, after Harvick's little stunt this morning have now annoyed JGR...so assuming they'll focus solely on each other like spoilt brats, Vader will cruise to his fifth title then.
ReplyDeleteLOL Tez. I wouldn't bet on Kyle helping Denny. He may enlist Joey to help with Harvick.
ReplyDeleteHarvick can handle Joey, no problem.
